Calif. law will expand telehealth options in rural areas

California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed legislation designed to improve the quality of health care in rural areas by providing residents with greater access to telehealth services. The bill, which legislators passed unanimously, expands the range of telehealth services available to residents as well as the number of medical professionals who can provide treatment and the number of health care settings.
