New clinical guidelines cover continuous glucose monitoring

The Endocrine Society has released guidelines on continuous glucose monitoring that recommend real time-CGM alone not be used for adults in intensive care or during surgery. The guidelines, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, also make recommendations for some children and adults based in part on HbA1C levels.
