Students build robots for global competition

About 1,800 students recently competed in the World Robot Olympiad in the United Arab Emirates -- a significant increase from the number who participated in last year's competition. Students were asked to design and build robots that would make workplaces more efficient. Among the entries were robots that clean windows and fight fires. In Abu Dhabi, teachers incorporated the contest into classroom lessons in maths, science and technology.
