Natgas drillers explore alternatives to fracking chemicals

Natural gas drillers are exploring alternative substances for hydraulic fracturing, such as carbon dioxide, helium, propane and nitrogen. "Whatever chemical is being used out there, they want to make sure it's good in the public eye, good for the growth of their company. They want to be on the chemistry forefront," said Kevin Schwartz of Weatherford International.
