Nurses' perceptions match data on hospital quality, study shows

The perceptions of nurses concerning the quality of hospital care accurately matched performance indicators, according to a study in the journal Research in Nursing and Health. "Although the patient's perspective is the most relevant quality-of-care indicator, nurse-reported quality of care is clearly a valuable indicator of hospital quality," lead author Matthew McHugh said.
