Study: Exercise may delay early aging in type 2 diabetes

Exercise levels were 20% lower in type 2 diabetes patients at any age compared with the control group, increasing the risk of early aging, early disability and death, according to a study. However, boosting physical activity levels may help stave off the negative impact that type 2 diabetes has on an individual's health, researchers are reporting at The Integrative Biology of Exercise VI meeting.
