In-store health clinics have made their way into the Washington, D.C., metro area, where consumers can get quick checkups or care for minor ailments while shopping at local stores such as CVS. The clinics are run by MinuteClinic, which runs 40 facilities around the nation that are staffed by nurse practitioners.
