Yum Brands vows to improve Pizza Hut's U.S. profits

Pizza Hut's recent 5% decline in same-store sales has prompted executives of the company to implement a problem "detection analysis" of the brand. "We are all over this business and are putting every Yum resource to bear that will turn this business around," said Chairman and Chief Executive David Novak.
