After watching their stock portfolios disintegrate, Americans are increasingly eyeing their overstuffed homes as a source of income. Ebay listings are up 19% in the past year, and Craigslist has twice as many ads for furniture and household items as it did last year. "It's too late to dump Fannie Mae stock," the Washington Post notes, "but you can still dump that Marie Osmond doll, David Yurman bracelet or Krups espresso machine in its original box."
