Even as oil drops, U.S. airlines wait for price adjustments

Although oil prices last week dropped below $80, the airline industry is still poised to post multi-billion dollar losses for the year, according to one industry group. In addition, BestFares.com CEO Tom Parson notes that oil prices remain volatile and therefore carriers aren't adjusting the prices of their product -- at least for the time being. "They're not out of the woods yet," said Parsons.
