Most HPV cases in men resolve within one year

Men have a high chance of contracting human papillomavirus infections, but, as with HPV in women, the infections usually don't last longer than a year. The study of almost 300 men found about half experienced an HPV infection, one-third of the virus types were known to cause cancer but 75% of cases cleared up within a year.
