MySpace offers targeted ads to small businesses

MyAds is a new self-service display ad program from MySpace that allows small businesses and individuals to use the site's HyperTargeting system to set an ad budget and target their message based on geography, demographics, interests and other user-profile data. The program reportedly is an attempt to apply the analytics and targeting that have fueled the success of the search segment to the display category.
