NBC local TV sites to take "less is more" ad tactic

NBCChicago.com is the first of several local TV station sites to get content and ad makeovers from NBC Local Media. The sites are being retooled to offer "insider" content for in-the-know locals, and will have fewer ads as a way to try to draw more national marketers to the mix.
