Obama unveils plan to help small businesses through credit crunch

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has unveiled a plan to get the Small Business Administration involved in helping keep small businesses afloat during the financial crisis. Under the short-term "Small Business Rescue Plan," the SBA would be called on to extend an emergency lending facility and set up temporary tax incentives to assist small businesses in the credit crunch and help create new jobs.
