AIG looks to sell some ILFC planes, sources say

American International Group is in negotiations to sell part of its aircraft fleet that belongs to its aircraft-leasing arm, International Lease Finance, to a group of private-equity investors, sources said. The consortium would take over less than 10% of the fleet. ILFC has a portfolio of more than 1,000 aircraft, with a book value of more than $40 billion.
