Buildings attract attention -- for being ugly

The Portland Building in Oregon is considered one of the world's "ugliest" buildings because of its "off-putting hodgepodge" of architectural elements and colors, Bunny Wong writes. The Secret Intelligence Service Building in London also is panned for its "hulking concrete slabs, characterless green glass, and jagged rotundas."
