Collin County Regional Airport to begin $60M renovation

The Collin County Regional Airport plans to kick off a $60 million renovation for the general aviation airport in McKinney, Texas. The 79-year-old airport will receive a 90-foot control tower and a wider, 150-foot runway. "We're building the infrastructure we need now, and have planned for, to accommodate increased traffic," said Ken Wiegand, executive director of the McKinney Airport Development Corp.
