Physics is the focus of Texas teacher training

At Angelo State University in Texas, high-school science teachers are able to boost their physics skills through a program where they attend an intensive two-week training institute, returning to their schools with new equipment as well as a stipend for materials. "We know these teachers don't have the equipment and need help with curriculum and labs," a program leader said.
