Pittsburgh bank increases cool factor with green wall

PNC Financial Services Group in Pittsburgh has installed a green wall the size of two tennis courts on its building, where more than 15,000 ferns, sedums, brass buttons and other plants will swirl around the company's logo. Joanne Westphal, a professor of landscape architecture at Michigan State University, says green walls help cool buildings and slow the runoff of rain.
