Pittsburgh workers train for solar roof installation

Pittsburgh city workers attended a class on installing solar panels in preparation for building solar-powered water heaters. The city plans to install five solar-powered water heaters on roofs to cut costs on water bills. The first roof installation will be on a firehouse, and the solar panels will provide hot water for the firehouse's kitchen, showers and bathrooms.
