Out U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., opted to skip the National Equality March, but believes the event will play a key role in helping to bring national attention to LGBT issues. Her out colleague, U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., took an even harder line, saying the march would do little if anything to advance the LGBT-rights agenda.
