Pennsylvania teachers include Chilean miners' rescue in lessons

High-school students in a Pennsylvania community with ties to mining watched this week's rescue of 33 Chilean miners in class, and the events were incorporated into students' lessons. Anytime "we can bring what's happening in current events into the classroom makes it very interesting to our students," said North Schuylkill Superintendent Andrew Smarkanic.
