sells 1.5 million deals in 2 days

Two weeks after announcing a plan to add Groupon-like daily deals to its site, sold more than 1.5 million discounted dining certificates in just 48 hours. The deeply discounted certificates -- some valued at $25 sold for $1 -- have the potential to add about $105 million in incremental sales at 15,000 participating eateries around the country.
