Survey: Starting salaries for IT workers to rise 3.4% next year

A Robert Half Technology salary survey projects an average increase of 3.4% in starting salaries for IT workers next year, with demand expected to be particularly strong from the health sector. "We've seen a strong demand for IT professionals, from developers to help desk, to assist with the conversion to electronic medical records," Robert Half Technology's executive director said.
