Teach yourself to innovate like Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs may sometimes seem like a magician, writes Carmine Gallo, but in fact he's just a regular guy who's capable of finding unexpected connections between things. Other people can learn to do the same by consciously seeking to expose themselves to new ideas and people from other fields, Gallo notes. "Jobs doesn't see things differently from the rest of us. Jobs perceives things differently," he writes. "Perception separates the innovator from the imitator."
