Apple talks with Hollywood about movie streaming

Movie streaming is the subject of talks between Apple and major Hollywood studios. A deal would allow users of iOS devices who purchase movies through the iTunes Store to stream them on their iPhones and iPads rather than manually transfer the content. This would bring Apple in line with a studio consortium UltraViolet remote-storage system, which lets purchasers of movies on DVD and Blu-rays discs also view the movies online.
