FDA offers $1.8M for development of pediatric devices

The FDA has awarded a two-year, $1.8 million grant to a research consortium including Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for the development of specialized pediatric medical devices. The consortium also plans to investigate the complications of using regular, adult medical devices.
