How SAP keeps 8,000 bloggers on message

In eight years of social media engagement, SAP has built a sprawling online community with 2.5 million members and more than 8,000 active bloggers, only about 30% of whom are SAP employees. Keeping that social juggernaut on track requires a holistic, ecosystem-based approach, says SAP's Mark Yolton. His team's engagement efforts start with SAP's homepage, expand to hosted community sites, and only then turn to third-party networks such as Twitter and Facebook, he says.
