Mo. hospital quiets down to improve healing

Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Mo., is a quieter place since it began the Silent Hospitals Help Healing campaign to reduce noise levels to 55 decibels, which can promote patient healing and help reduce errors. Hospital departments compete to see which can be the quietest, and even patients get involved by wearing headphones when they watch TV.
