Nursing homes improve quality of care, report says

Nursing homes showed improvements on nine of 10 quality measures in 2010, including pain and pressure ulcers, activities of daily living, and urinary tract infections, according to a report by the Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care and the American Health Care Association. Nursing homes had worse scores in the use of physical restraints, the report said.
