LinkedIn has launched a following feature and status updates that make it far easier to promote brands to the network's professional users, writes Steve Olenski. That puts the impetus on marketers to ensure their brands' profile pages are lively and up to date, he notes. "Doesn't matter if you're a B2B marketer or B2C marketer or an advertiser or a brand ... your company profile just got a whole lot more important," Olenski writes.
