"App Mention Alerts" is launching a service for tracking mentions of an application in blogs and reviews. The tracking "results are better for developers, because the service weeds out most of the websites that simply reprint press releases or App Store descriptions," Sarah Perez writes. "The tracking is based on App Store links ... so the results are much cleaner. Before our tool, it was quite hard ... [to] weed out all the false positives," founder Tomasz Kolinko says.
