Boston Scientific advances DES, re-entry catheter device trials

Boston Scientific said it has begun patient enrollment in a clinical study to test the use of its Innova device, a peripheral vascular drug-eluting stent, in treating above-the-knee arterial occlusions. The company also reported early positive results from a clinical trial evaluating the use of its OffRoad re-entry catheter device in treating occlusions in leg arteries.
