CFPB's Antonakes discusses examinations, future work

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau wants to speed up the exam-reporting process, says Steven Antonakes, deputy director for the agency. He says in this interview that he would like to see exam reports issued within 90 to 120 days after an examiner leaves a site, and that "we're getting closer" to that time frame. Antonakes also says he hopes the CFPB will propose rules for the student loan servicing market by the end of the year.
