Danish students learn about American life

High-school students in Frederick County, Md., and 19 Danish exchange students recently connected through a partnership between area high schools and a secondary school in Denmark. Students in the exchange program took courses at local high schools and lived with host families for about a week, where they learned about American society. "They were like a sponge. They wanted to take in as much as they could before they left," teacher Stacy MacMillan said.
