Study of CDx's device for detection of biliary-tract cancer is completed

CDx Diagnostics said it has wrapped up a clinical trial evaluating the use of its Wide Area Transepithelial Sample, or WATS, system in diagnosing biliary-tract cancer. The device works by collecting a wide area tissue sample and subjecting it to a computer-aided 3D examination to identify problematic cells.
