Children sample science on floating classroom

Kentucky students collected Ohio River water samples, studied fish and conducted experiments aboard a riverboat that seeks to give children hands-on experience with science. "Everything they learned about and saw today goes hand in hand with what I am teaching them in the classroom," science teacher Lola Morrison said. "It really helps them put a face on what they are learning."
