Developments raise questions about Joystar's future

On Sept. 30, the California-based host agency Joystar failed to pay some of its independent travel agents' commissions and also laid off part of its staff. The developments have prompted some contractors to seek alternative hosting services. Issues at Joystar have been brewing for a while, and the company recently let its travel-seller registrations in California and Florida expire.
