Honda goes on the musical road to cue up marketing stunt

A new TV campaign for Honda features a musical road installed by the automaker in Lancaster, Calif., with special grooves that trigger a section of "The William Tell Overture" when a Civic and other models traverse it. Although the real-life road-play has proved a hit with some parents with small children and garnered multiple YouTube clips, it was paved over by local officials after 18 days due to complaints from nearby residents that the music was keeping them up at night.
