Accused hijacker in 1968 case gets day in court

Luis Armando Peña Soltren pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges of air piracy and kidnapping in the 1968 hijacking of Pan American Flight 281. According to a 41-year-old indictment, Soltren and three fellow conspirators stormed the plane's cockpit with guns and knives smuggled on board in a diaper bag, forcing the pilot to fly to Cuba.
