Continental CEO: Airport fees affect route plans

Continental Airlines CEO Larry Kellner told airport executives on Tuesday that the airline industry is "still bouncing along the bottom" as carriers deal with fluctuating fuel prices and weak demand for air travel. With airlines in cost-cutting mode, airport fees are an important part of route planning, Kellner said: "The lower your cost per passenger, the likelier we will go there."
