JPMorgan Chase's Q3 earnings top analysts' estimates

JPMorgan Chase posted third-quarter earnings of $3.59 billion, or 82 cents per share, up from $527 million, or 9 cents per share, in the same period last year. The results topped a consensus of 20 analysts polled by Bloomberg, who had predicted that the second-biggest bank in the country would post earnings of 51 cents per share.
