Report: Progress slow on New Orleans coastal restoration

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation released a report this week criticizing the lack of progress on coastal restoration projects near New Orleans. Only two of nine restoration projects after Hurricane Katrina have been completed so far. "Levees alone aren't sufficient for protection in Louisiana and in the New Orleans area," said John Lopez, the foundation's science director.
