A Saudi Arabian university student has pleaded guilty to violating airport security at Tampa International Airport. Raed Abduhl-Rahman Alsaif was attempting to board a US Airways flight last June when a screener discovered a 7 1/4-inch chef's knife hidden under the handles of his carry-on bag. Alsaif had been dismissed one month earlier from the University of Tampa due to poor grades, leaving him in violation of his visa. He faces up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
