ASUSTeK chief: Tablets won't have a big impact on netbook sales

Despite predictions of significant cannibalization, ASUSTeK Chairman Jonney Shih said the rising popularity of tablet computers such as Apple's iPad will not significantly impact the success of netbook computers such as his company's Eee PC line. One analyst predicted a 30% to 50% cannibalization rate, but Shih said the overlap "won't be that much."
