Bair says foreclosure "robo-signing" is serious problem:

Sheila Bair, chairwoman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., said she is opposed to a nationwide foreclosure moratorium, but said "robo-signing" of documents is an issue and that regulators are monitoring the situation. "The 'robo-signing' of foreclosure documents is a serious matter for loan servicers, homeowners, and the entire industry," Bair said.
