Nokia to developers: We're ready to go with MeeGo

Nokia is turning up the heat on its MeeGo operating system by preparing to release an upgrade designed to give developers a more stable platform on which to write their applications, the cell phone maker said in a blog post. Nokia also hinted the N900 smartphone would carry the software as early as mid-November. MeeGo combines Nokia's Maemo and Intel's Mablin software, both of which are Linux-based.
