Trusting wireless users pose a security risk in U.K.

Despite efforts to shore up wireless-network security, 25% of access points in the U.K. remain open and unsecured, and Wi-Fi users are too willing to trust unsecured networks, according to a study that has prompted one security industry player to propose that business users leverage a VPN if they must use an open access point in public.
