Women make inroads in car design

As women are increasingly taking the lead on car-buying decisions, automakers are hiring more women for their design staffs. Women make up only a tiny percentage of car designers, but ones like Anne Forschner are shaking up design. Forschner calls her design philosophy "Lovos" for Lifestyle of Voluntary Simplicity. "Knowing how to design cars -- which are to me the most fascinating objects -- was and still is my biggest dream," she said.
