Group fails in effort to reverse Calif.'s LGBT history law

A group opposed to the recently passed California law -- which requires social science curricula at public schools to include the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals -- failed to get enough signatures to try to overturn the law through a statewide ballot initiative.
